Sam and Melissa met through the popular dating app, Tinder. in January of 2018. Melissa was initially drawn to Sam because he said he was a teacher in his bio, and Melissa was studying to become a School Counselor. She loved the idea that they would have a good understanding and appreciation of each others' work in education.
Melissa and Sam's first date was at the Cheesecake Factory. Their second date was to grab a drink at O'learys in Sarasota and that is where they had their first kiss. This is also the same location where Sam would later propose to Melissa on Christmas Eve of 2020.
Sam and Melissa fell in love and decided to tie the knot on February 26th 2022!
